A CMS is a software application that allows users to manage website content, such as text, images, and multimedia, without requiring specialised technical knowledge. A CMS is used to simplify the content management process and make it more efficient for website owners.

At Geronimo, we have developed our own powerful CMS that is at the core of our website solutions. While our CMS shares some similarities with traditional CMS platforms, it is much more than that. Our CMS is a bespoke solution that has been designed and built from the ground up to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Why did we develop our own CMS?

When we were researching CMS solutions for our clients, we found that existing solutions on the market did not meet our client’s needs. We needed a CMS that could support a global audience of clients and provide a simple and easy-to-use interface. We also wanted to ensure that our clients could manage their website content in their local language without any language barriers.

As a result, we decided to develop our own CMS in-house, giving us complete control over the features and functionality. Our CMS has been developed to be highly customisable and localisable, allowing us to tailor the platform to meet each client’s specific needs.

Features of the Geronimo CMS

Our CMS provides our clients with a range of features and functions designed to make content management as simple and efficient as possible. Some of these features include:

Simple and intuitive user interface
The Geronimo CMS has been developed from the ground up around to be intuitive and simple to use. All content can be managed in simple-to-understand screens, and the CMS application is available in 15 languages.
No coding skills required
All content can be input using our simple text editor tools, very similar to using Microsoft Word.
Don't worry about the styling of the content
All text content that is entered in the CMS is in a "non-styled" format. Your website will automatically apply the typography styles based on your website theme.
Need to manage multiple websites for your business?
Whether it's another website to support a second or third language or an additional website for one of your other OEM's, all can be managed within our CMS.
Assign content tasks and roles to staff
We understand that different people have different skills which is why you are able to allocate staff to certain tasks, such as inventory management, finance rate setup or content population.
Optimise each page for search with our simple Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) User Interface (UI)
All pages can be optimised for search from within the CMS. Set page titles, meta descriptions, short URL's and more, all within the CMS.
Control every word on your website from the CMS
Many CMS applications only allow users to edit certain content areas; at Geronimo, all text is controlled via the CMS, including language translations of our core website features.
Every content section also has the ability for HTML input
We understand that to make a website truly unique, content sometimes needs to be displayed in various formats. This is why we allow HTML on all content areas for content such as tables, accordions, videos and more.
